after the ecstasy, the… cold.

i just finished the best book ever, aka if god is love, and have just started after the ecstasy, the laundry. the title speaks to my condition. what do you do when you are giddy and happy and grounded all at the same time, and you feel like you’ve found you purpose… and then suddenly your head fills with snot and all you want to do is sleep? if you are me, you cancel your extracurriculars on thursday, and then call in sick from work on friday, and lay about and watch the stupidest movies that you own.

i’m sure there’s stuff going on inside me and outside me that will challenge and inspire me, but right now it’s all pretty foggy.

  1. Ok, here’s my crazy dream:

Phillip Gulley and James Mulholland, authors of If God is Love and If Grace is True, Live at the Bill Graham Auditorium, brought to you by San Francisco Friends Meeting (Quakers)

Do you think we could do it????

Actually, I’m home nursing my laryngitis. I didn’t even go to meeting this morning. I hope to speak again tomorrow.

  2. … we can try.

i saw you weren’t there today. i hope you feel better soon! i’m not gigantically sick, but just enough that everything seems so foggy!
